Our State Committee candidates for Region 5 are Val Biancaniello (incumbent) and our very own Michael Straw (Chairman for the Media Borough Republican Committee).
#B61 – Val Biancaniello (Candidate for State Committeewoman)
Val Biancaniello is a married mom of three who is an active member of the community and the Republican Party. She served as an elected PA-5 RNC Delegate for President Trump in 2020 and was an statewide alternate delegate for President Trump in 2024. She served as one of Pennsylvania’s 19 Presidential electors in 2024 and has served as our State Committeewoman for the past four years. She has been ENDORSED by the 165 State House Committee for re-election.
#B62 – Michael Straw (Candidate for State Committeeman)
Michael Straw is the Chairman of the Media Borough Republican Committee. Previously, he served as Chairman for the Penn State College Republicans and was Chair of the Delaware County Young Republicans. He’s managed several Republican campaigns in Delaware County over the past eight years and has run for office in RTMSD and Media Borough. He’s a two time elected Media Borough committeeperson and was elected as one of three PA-5 RNC Delegates to the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee, WI. He’s a married man who has worked closely with State Committeewoman Val Biancaniello to assist state-level Republican candidates win our area locally.
